Our vision 'One family rooted in love, growing and enabling all to flourish' ( Mark 4:1-20) is to ensure pupils and adults grow and flourish in everything they do, no matter their starting point. 

We aim for all members of our school community to feel inspired and be inspiring, making a positive contribution to the life of others.   We know that we need kindness, honesty and perseverance, and these will also help us to flourish. We want to keep our hearts open, be willing to serve, and recognise the blessings that we have – this will also enable us to flourish.

At Finmere we believe that it is important to develop core values by which to live and cultivate moral virtues that support and form character, spiritual awareness and self-esteem. We feel a deep responsibility to nurture core values that can be shared and expressed by all regardless of faith or belief. As a school and community we seek to explore the meanings of core values and their significance in Christianity, other religions and secular teachings.

Our Christian Values are embedded in every part of daily life here at Finmere.  The school values are:

We hope that by the time the children leave us at the end of Year 6 these values will form a solid foundation for future success.
